On Friday, the snow arrived and schools were closed. Instead of rushing through the day or trying to fit everything in, we pulled on gloves, braved the cold, and played.

Snow on gloves. Red noses. Loud laughter. The kind of play that just happens when time slows down a little.

It wasn’t a “day off”.

It was a play day.
